Escape from Tarkov Is It Worth Playing?
Escape from Tarkov (EFT) is a hardcore extraction FPS developed and published by Russian studio Battlestate Games. After nearly nine years in closed beta, the game officially launched its version 1.0 on November 15, 2025 — simultaneously on the BSG launcher and Steam. Set in the fictional post-Soviet city of Tarkov, the game drops players into a conflict zone controlled by rival PMCs, armed locals (Scavs), and dangerous AI bosses, with one objective: extract alive with your loot.
